Capcom: Reality Crash - PG-13
Characters may engage in flirtatious, sexually oriented situations, but nothing will be explicitly detailed. Curse words can be more prominent in some characters, and sometimes an F-bomb may even be dropped. Violence is moderate, without too much vivid detail.
Rules:
Follow them. Simple, really.
Follow them. Simple, really.
Account-Specific Rules
Character Creation: To make it obvious as to which character you are RPing as, a separate account should be made to represent each character you play. Proboards has no limitations as to how many user accounts you can sign up with, and it only takes a minute to do.
Accepted Characters: Accepted characters include any existing Capcom licensed character, but that character must be property of Capcom. This means that characters from games produced by Capcom, but not Capcom-owned characters themselves (such as the Capcom versus series) are not allowed.
Fan-Made Characters: Fan characters are accepted on the grounds that they are balanced, believable additions to the franchise they represent. Absolutely no Mary Sue characters are permitted. All fan-made characters are subject to approval by an administrator or moderator, and may not be played until they are reviewed and approved.
Duplicate Characters: The only instance in which this is allowed is if the said characters are logically different people. For example, the classic Mega Man, Mega Man X, and MegaMan Trigger are all different characters, even though they are all Mega Man, so they can all be played separately. An example of what's not allowed is to, for example, create Evil Ryu when someone already RPs as Ryu, because they are still the same person.
General Rules
Typing Finesse: No one here is a grammar Nazi, but posters are expected to type-out posts in a professional and legible manner. Net talk, chat lingo, text faces, and smiley emoticons are not permitted in in-characters posts. And always remember; the 'Spell Check' button available at the bottom of every message is your friend. Note: This rule does not apply to out-of-character posts.
OOC: Forbidden on RP boards. Typing (OOC: message) before your post is not allowed. If you have something to say out of character, either PM the target recipient, or post it on the OOC board. If an OOC is seen in a post, it will be removed by an admin.
Catch Up: If you're in an active thread with multiple people, give everyone a chance to post. Don't leave a member's character in the dust while you and someone else RP back and forth, give them a chance to react, too.
Time Clause: If you RP as a licensed character and are inactive, then that character can be up for grabs by another member. There's no point in a character being taken if you don't plan on using them while another RPer has to miss out. If you don't post as a character within the period of one month, and another RPer expresses interest in playing that character, then the rights to that character will be given to them unless the original poster has a legitimate reason for not posting as that character. Also note that posting in OOC does not count as RPing as that character!
Double Posting: Don't do it. Unless under certain circumstances, such as adding an additional page to a solo topic (such as an independent writings, character profiles, etc.) then there should be no reason to double post. If you later think of something you'd like to add, just edit your last existing post and add to it rather than posting a new message.
God-Like Characters: We've all seen them. The all-powerful character that never takes damage and who can destroy an entire city using one eyelash. Well, you won't see them here. Certain liberties can be taken based on the nature of the character (some will obviously be stronger than others), but keep it tolerable.
God-Moding: This term can apply to those who control the actions of another player's character without prior consent. You may only control the actions of your own played characters, with the only exception being that you received permission from the other player to take poetic license of their character for story purposes. But again, let me repeat: unless you got previous permission from the player, that is not allowed.
